Uncoupling closes your connection to a shared space. You do not need to write an explanation for your partner in Tiptoe. Take a moment to review the information shown in Settings so you know what happens next.
Choose Uncouple in Settings and confirm when you are ready. The shared space is archived. Both people can export the shared information. Each person can also export their own private records, but neither can export the other person’s private gift ideas, drafts, date votes, or check-in answers before reveal.
Your private information stays with your own account unless you delete it. Uncoupling does not turn private records into shared ones. It also does not erase a copy of shared information that someone has already exported or saved elsewhere.
Uncoupling, canceling a subscription, and deleting an account are separate actions. Review billing if you want to stop renewal. Use Delete account if you want to remove your account and private data, and export anything you need first.
If you feel afraid or controlled, visit the Safety page for support resources. You can contact support@tiptoe.ai for account help without sending private conversation details.
