Good gift ideas rarely arrive on the day you need them. Save one when your partner mentions a book, points out a jacket, or says they would enjoy an afternoon somewhere. A short note is enough to keep the thought from disappearing.
Gift ideas are private to the giver. Your partner cannot browse your saved ideas, links, prices, or notes. This is different from partner profile facts, which are visible to both people. Put surprise details in Gifts, not in What I’ve learned.
Add a title and, if useful, a link, price, occasion, or note. You can mark an idea as bought or given to keep your own planning clear. Tiptoe does not place orders or verify that a shop still has an item in stock.
Key dates can remind you early when a gift is needed. The reminder can lead back to your private ideas so you have time to choose without starting from scratch.
Keep device privacy in mind. An unlocked screen can show what you are looking at even when the record is private in Tiptoe. You can export your own gift ideas; your partner cannot export them.
